A long, long time ago, I was sitting on Mount Olympus. It was a nice day out and I hear a knock at my door. It is Helios, he asks me to do a favor for him. His request was that I watch Odysseus and then eventually, wreck his ship. I accepted this request and continued with my day. The next day I went out to watch the King of Ithica himself, Mr. Odysseus. He was trying to escape from Polyphemus’s island, Cyclopes. Odysseus was fighting with the Cyclops, Odysseus wanted to leave Cyclopes A.S.A.P. Then I see that Odysseus gets violent and stabs Polyphemus’s eyeball. As Polyphemus struggled to get back up, Odysseus is running off the island. Polyphemus gets up and runs after Odysseus. I see that Odysseus stops and yells at Polyphemus, I realized that Odysseus just made one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Odysseus just told Polyphemus where he lives and where he is going. I say to myself that Odysseus truly needs his ship destroyed and Odysseus could of just ruined the rest of his life. As I finish saying this to myself, I look down and see Polyphemus praying, he is praying to my dear brother, Poseidon. Polyphemus said that he wants Odysseus’ men to not make it home and will have troubles when he reaches home. I continue my day and when the time comes, I will destroy Odysseus’s ship. I see that disaster has happened to Odysseus’s men they are all gone and Odysseus is alone. I look down closely and he is sailing on the Ocean. I see this and tell myself it’s time. I will destroy Odysseus’s ship once and for all. I grab my lightning bolt and I zap the ship and boom it is gone. As the ship breaks apart I see Odysseus grab a piece of his ship and he starts floating away. Odysseus floats for a long time, he finally reaches land. Odysseus has reached Ithica. Odysseus was gone for twenty years, a lot has changed. I see my daughter Athena talking to Odysseus, she disguises him into a beggar. She does this so people won’t notice Odysseus. He is walking and sees his son Telemachus. Athena disguises him back into Odysseus so he could go talk to his son. They work out a plan to claim Odysseus’s kingdom back, the plan is that Telemachus goes in and hides the weapons. Telemachus does this so they can have a fair fight. The fight breaks out and Odysseus defeats the Suitors. Now Odysseus must prove himself to Penelope. Odysseus describes the bed he made and Penelope realized that it was really her husband, Odysseus. They live happily ever after and the story is over.
